AstroAgency’s SpaceBar – August 2023

AstroAgency would like to invite you to the virtual SpaceBar. This event will be held monthly on Thursdays at 7:00pm (BST) as a live show, hosted by Dallas Campbell and Dr. Suzie Imber. Here, you can enjoy anything from a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster to a hot cup of tea while discussing all things space! The events will feature guest contributors from the space industry, the latest space news, and questions and comments from you, the audience!

The new one-hour live show can be viewed on your computer, tablet or phone and, for the first time, on your television using the YouTube app on your Smart TV, streaming stick/box or game console of choice. The live show will be followed by the Aftershow Party, which will take place on Zoom, where you can chat with the contributors, discuss the episode, and network with other attendees.

All SpaceBar attendees are encouraged to join the live chat and actively participate in the session. Questions from the audience will be put to our hosts and guests throughout the event, and you can even submit your questions, by video, ahead of the event. Keep an eye on this page as we’ll post details of our guests closer to the time.

Following the live event, there will be an aftershow event, held on Zoom, where you can discuss the content from the live session and chat with the panellists.

Minister George Freeman is Minister of State in the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.

Jodi Bartin, CEO of Citicourt & Co Limited, has a rich history of involvement in various sectors, including serving on multiple boards in the highly innovative space sector, where she is able to apply her experience by mentoring early and later-stage businesses in cooperation with ESA funded Space Linkers. Jodi is currently spearheading Citicourt’s growth strategy, launching new Funds and a Property division, and executing successful fundraising, M&A, and debt/equity transactions. Jodi is an analyst at heart and finds the best means of underpinning an argument is with the facts and figures.
